Tender Rose was established in 2009 when our founder, Jim Kimzey, was caring for his own mother.

As he raced against time to learn everything he could about Alzheimer’s, he realized the need for a specialized dementia care provider. Today, Tender Rose is the only in-home care provider working exclusively with people living with dementia. By keeping our focus narrow, we’ve been able to hone our expertise and help families navigate the twists and turns of dementia.

Our unique approach includes a team of over 100 highly trained, well-compensated Memory Care Professionals (MCPs) who provide one-on-one care to our clients in the Greater SF Bay Area.

Our training program is the most innovative and comprehensive in the industry—and it shows. We’ve brought joy and peace of mind to hundreds of clients over the years.

We assign each client a Care Coordinator and Scheduler backed by a full office team and available 24/7. This concierge approach means that care and schedules are carefully orchestrated to provide the utmost support where and when our clients need it.
